Human Rights: Authority Of Majority

Human Rights: Authority Of Majority
Human rights are consensus human reached to protect themselves. They are universal and well acknowledged, because only by that can the concept of human rights work out. What I mean "work out" is to make the world a better place.
The recognization of human rights usually dose good to majority. When it comes to minority, they are sometimes ignored by "human rights". For instance, the Declaration of human rights state that" every person should have bore free and equal." but people who born with a high class family name according to the caste system in India, they believe they are in higher status than "pariah status" of which people are born to do some dirty and tough work generation by generation. The higher class definitely feel violated, because the declaration says "all human are born equal". But no matter how irritated they are, the caste system is alway considered wrong, simply because they are minorities and do not have the power to make much difference to the whole world.
Somehow, the declaration of human rights is well acknowledged because they are too general to put most of people in a same majority. Because the more details it has, the more conflicts and disagreements will appear; every one will has his or her own human rights which might violate some other people. All in all, the declaration of human rights, to a certain extent, is subjectively acknowledged by majority. In essence, the definition of human rights are general and it cannot be particularized.

The disputes about human rights

Human rights , this two words seem not hard to understand literally, but the meaning behind the words is not as simple as it is thought. Let's see the definition in Wikipedia"human rights, inalienable fundamental rights to which a person is inherently entitled simply because she or he is a human being." However, the rights as a human being seem not that easy to be obtained. Many disputes still exist in modern society even after so many years' pursuit of it.
The first focus topic is about whether the death penalty should be abolished. There are 58 countries still reserving the death penalty institution in the world, including China, Japan, Singapore and the United States. Another 139 countries has abolished the death penalty to varying degrees. The second issue is about the euthanasia. Should it be accepted if a patient apply for euthanasia? Is it legal or illegal, moral or immoral? The third is about the abortion. People's opinions about it differ from country to country. Some argue that abortion is against the humanism, and it breaks the bottom line of the morality. While other reckon that it has nothing to do with morality, and it is just the same as any other surgeries. The forth dispute lies in the issue of homosexual. Should the homosexual persons be discriminated Should the marriage between the same gender be allowed in law and morality at the same time? All these problem have been discussing for many decades, especially the recent decade, but still no agreement has been reached.
These four issues are just part of the disputes about human rights. Maybe in the future some can be solved, and maybe other disputes will come up because of the development of the society. Anyway, we have to walk a long hard way before we reach the ideal world in which all the people there can be blessed with human rights.

Women's human rights

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights says:” All people are born free. All people are born equal and so have equal rights. People can think for themselves and understand what’s going on around them. Everyone should act as brothers and sisters.”
In terms of human rights, there exists a difference between men and women. The issue of women’s human rights has been discussed these years. People realized that, in general, women have less opportunity then men to carry out their human rights, such as in education and in hunting for a job. For example, I learned in class that, in Singapore, women would be paid less than men for the same position. I have no idea how it happens.
In some parts of the world, women are living miserable lives. Some of their human rights are cruelly exploited. In Afghanistan, most women don’t have the right to education. There are many other limitations for Afghan women. For instance, they may serve ad compensation to settle down a dispute, which I think is inhuman. Women are not articles, and they should not be transferred just like they are private property of men.
Women are born free and equal as men in human rights. Those women, who haven’t got their due rights, are supposed to fight bravely for human rights.

Human rights

Today, I learnt about human rights, and I have some ideas to share with you.

America is always trying to fight for all people’s human rights in the whole world. They, however, did not get too many achievements. So I want to talk about two things around human rights today.

First, I think America must let people know what human rights are during the fight for human rights. Only if people know meanings of human rights, they can be willing to receive others’ help.

For example, people in North Korea do not have the freedom to watch some TV programmers and to make speeches. But in their opinions, they live a very harmonious life; they consider America’ help as disturbing and take it granted that they have enough human rights. That is to say, if people cannot know what human rights refer to, any kind of help makes no sense.

Second, helpers should make people who do not have human rights willing to fight for themselves. As the saying goes, ‘willingness is the strongest weapon’. Suppose that all people are willing to get human rights, and they struggle for these things together, they must succeed in the end. For instant, why can the new China be founded? Because almost all people in old China fought against invaders. So it is import to spire people to fight for themselves.

In all, if people know what human rights are and are willing to fight for these things, with helps of others they will get success finally.

The way to ensure people's rights

In recent years, people tend to claim more about human rights that can give them the freedom to do what they want. I used to think that what kinds of things have the power to ensure people's rights. I got two answers.
The first one is law. Without doubt, law makes it clear for people what rights they exactly have, in which way disputes on a certain issue can be greatly avoided. Of course, the premise is that the law is made based on the will of ordinary people. On the other hand, when someone violates the human rights, law gives the criteria of how the person should be punished. In this way, law is considered as an effective way to guarantee the basic fairness about human rights.
The second one,  which I think is also the more important one, is people's social conscience, or morality. Without studying law, sometimes people already know what is right or wrong. The essential reason is our social conscience. This character enables us the ability to behave properly and try not to violate others' rights in a very natural way. Another effect of the social conscience is that it provides people with the ability of self-control when people want to commit some crimes under extreme emotions.
Nowadays, with the society developing quickly, people's ideological level has improved, as well as the sicial system if law. It means that our rights have been better protected in modern times.

Rights and Rules

When we share our opinion about rights violations, we mentioned that we are not allowed to spit on the street or chew gum. What is more, we are not allowed to eat or chat in class. They are all the rights violations, but people can usually accept them. I think it is rules that affect our judgment towards rights. Rights are necessary, because we don’t what to be slaves, but rules are equally important, to make our world working efficiently.

Some people may think rule ruin our rights, but I think they protect our rights, because sometimes the rights we argue are against others’ rights. For example, if everyone spit on the street, streets are sure to be dirty. This violates the rights to enjoy a clean environment. Forbidding eating in class is a way to protect tutor and classmates’ right of being respected. Criminals do have the right to be free, but they have ruined others’ rights, so they will be put into prison. What the world will be without any rules? Maybe everyone is enjoying his own rights but violate others’ rights, then the world will be in a mass. We cannot life in such a world, because we need much more than rights.

Usually, we do what we should do rather than what we can do. As a result, our rights are limited as well as protected.

Privacy on the Internet

Many people consider privacy as one of fundamental human rights. As computer and the Internet have become more and more popular in recently years, people can get great amount of information faster and more conveniently, but on the other hand, people may lose privacy easily. The fact is that privacy has become one of the biggest problems in the new electronic age because people use the Internet more frequently. And there are several reasons that cause this issue.

The first reason is that many people regard the Internet as a place where can store records of everything permanently--every online photo, status update, Twitter post and blog can be stored forever. As social network sites have become very popular within last five years, it brings some problems to privacy. With the creation of Facebook and the continued popularity of Myspace, many people are giving their personal information out on the Internet. The third reason is about the privacy agreement of social network sites. It states that social network owns all of the content of what users upload. That means all pictures, videos and messages are stored in the social network datebase. Even if the user decides to terminate his or her account, the information will not disappear if the datebase is still there.

If one's personal information is disclosed to others, it may be, to some degree, dangerous because others can use those information to swindle money and there are potential privacy threats. Therefore, it is necessary to know how to protect one's personal information. The easiest way is not giving out personal information, such as name, address, telephone number and social insurance number. But there do have times that we need to fill in some forms online about our personal information, so make sure those online forms are secure. And it will be better to question why people want our personal information and make it clear that we do not want our information to be known by the third party. Another method is finding and reading the privacy policies of the Web sites before using them and never do business with any sites that doesn't have a clearly stated privacy policy.

I hope everyone can be aware of the problem of privacy and protect your privacy well.

Privacy may be not so private.

Privacy is some individual information that a person does not want others know or interfere with. The right of privacy is generally agreed in most of countries, and it is protected by their respective laws. In my opinion, although a person’s privacy is protected, it can also be exposed
without our attention.
Nowadays, people live in the information age where a lot of high technologies exist. There is a famous movie called “Enemy of the State” which stars Will Smith. In this movie, the leading character was monitored by the government, and all of his pen, watch, hand phone, shoes and even clothes were equipped with GPS trackers and detectaphones. His track could be easily followed by the government officers, and all of what he did was known clearly. I think although the technologies in the movie are a little imaginative, but some of them do exist in our life. Our call records can be monitored; our behavior can be recorded by the camera; our current position
can be obtained through mobile phone. Not only can the government use such technologies, but also some ordinary people are good at searching people by using unique method. For example, in China, the “Ren Rou Searching” is very powerful on the internet. If someone posted a provoking article or behaved immorally in a video, somehow, the real identity will be revealed by the netizens. I think this searching sometimes did help find the sinners, but it also violates others’ privacy in a way. It is an illegal behavior, so I do not agree with it.
In sum, people’s privacy sometimes is not so private and individual information maybe exposed by a certain way. I think privacy should be respected more and protected more.

Without human rights

How important are human rights? I want to answer the question with a fancy story made by myself.

Yesterday, I sold my human rights for boundless money. I think if I can buy whatever I want, why should I care about such helpless things like my human rights?

Today morning, I get up early. I cannot wait to buy many expensive products. When I am going to leave, however, a man pushes me into my house and yells at me: “Do not leave your house until 8 pm, Fool.” “Who are you? Why should I stay in my room?” I feel angry. “You don’t have a right to have the freedom.” The man laughs at me and leave. “No problem, I still can go shopping after 8 pm.” I try to make me happy.

I rush out my room when it is 8 pm. “Oh, finally.” I walk in the street with a smile, but some people start to humiliate me and even spit on me. “What are you doing?” I cannot bear. “You don’t have the right to be respected.” They said and still make fun of me.

I run to the shop with tears. Maybe only shopping can make me relaxed. The salesman looks at me and said: “You can’t take the clothes. You don’t have the right to own wealth.” I am surprised; I regret selling my rights; I must get them back.

Unluckily, leaving the shop, I meet a robber. “Give me your money. Oh, wait, I can kill you then get your money. You don’t have the right to live.” I feel scared and run for my life. Finally, I find a policeman. I shout: “Help!” the policeman glance at me and said: “You don’t have the right to get help.” As the robber come, I feel despairing and close my eye.

Human rights are the basic rights for human. If a person does not have human rights, the person cannot live in the world as a human.

The right to have privacy.

As human beings, we should have the rights to eat, to speech, to vote and to be free, but today, I want to talk about teenagers’ right: the right to have privacy.

In China, teenagers are usually treated as little child; parents insist that their children should let them know every privacy, including their diaries and the contents of their phone calls. For me, before I opened a QQ account, my parents will check my diaries even though I had a lock on my diaries. Therefore, I didn’t have the right to keep my secrets at home. No matter how hard I tried to send a signal that I was already an adult, my parents always told me that it was the best way to protect me from being hurt. However, I did not agree with my parents. The reason why I write diary is only because I want to release my feelings secretly; the contents in my diaries have nothing to do with my security. Teenagers already have their abilities to distinguish whether one thing is good or bad.

Parents want to protect their children from being hurt, but at the same time, it is unwise to look through all of their children’s secrets. Teenagers also have the right to have secrets.

Privacy VS Safety

Today, ZhuXin’s oral report told us that with the technology developing rapidly, our privacy can be easily stolen or known by others. Nowadays, various kinds of monitors have been developed. There are “CCTVs” along the street, in the shopping malls and even outside our dormitories; many people have their own cameras and can secretly take photographs of other people. The supervision might help to reveal the corruption, vandalism, assault and thievery. At the same time, however, it can influence our private life. Thus, the thought-provoking fact is that it is good to sacrifice our privacy to ensure the safety.
Every coin has two sides. From my point of view, the privacy outweighs the safety provided by supervision for two following reasons. On the one hand, many people might believe that our safety is most important; I think if we do not have any privacy, even though our safety is ensured, there is no gratification in our life at all, and I do not want to live in such a “dark world” without privacy. On the other hand, this kind of supervision does not help a lot; it can only monitor our actions. Therefore, I think government should pay more attention to the education rather than supervision; the self-censorship is the most vital thing to preclude the occurrence of such bad things.
In conclusion, as these reasons illustrate, I think that though the safety is important, our privacy outweighs the safety offered by supervision; I believe that it is pleasurable to freely enjoy our privacy.

Freedom of speech!!!

Unlike the old days, people think highly of human rights nowadays. We humans have equal rights simply because we are all humans. We have rights to speech freely, to move freely and to choose our religions freely. Among these various rights, the most important one I think is the freedom of speech.
On the one hand, as for me, talking is the best way to show my ideas and feelings. If people have freedom of speech, I can show my personal thoughts better and I can also understand others’ opinions better. In contrast, if people’s freedom of speech is limited, which means we cannot talk and discuss some political things or other sensitive issues, it will be hard for people to change their attitudes and opinions. As a result, the government of this country or area cannot realize their mistakes and the whole country’s development will be influenced. As we can see, the freedom of speech is very important for people and the whole country.
On the other hand, there are some problems coming with free speech. Some impulsive words that are published in newspaper or on the Internet can do great harms to a large number of people, especially in mixed racial countries. To solve this problem, I think we need high level of education, which can lead people have their unique and appropriate valuation and judgement. Once people have a sense of what they should do and what they should not do, they will do the right things without being forced.
In summary, in my opinion, the freedom of speech is the most important one among human rights. In addition, we should let people be well educated to avoid the side effects of the freedom of speech.

Born with rights

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
When Martin Luther King said out these words in 28th August 1963, he knew what he did would certainly be a monument on human's way to equal rights. History proved that he is just like a spark that lit up the fire of hope, leading Afamerican to fight for their rights.
Everyone is born with rights including right to speak freely, right to be treated equally and so on. I am glad that I was born in urban city, so I can easily enjoy my own basic rights such as the right to be well educated, the right to use advanced facilities etc. But ironically, nowadays, there are still many people who cannot even have the most basic rights. People who live in the rural area, as an example, reflects this cruel reality. Those poor people don't have the chance to acquire education as urban people, they don't have opportunity to share public facilities with urban people, their hardship cannot be seen, their asking for help cannot be heard. They should have equal rights as urban citizens. Sadly, the truth is they don't. There is no reason for us to stand by and act as we are blind or deaf. Actions need to be taken to fill the gap between rural area and urban area.
As we benefit from our right, we also have obligation to let more people benefit from it; because we are not supposed to take these advantages as granted, but responsibility. People share the earth, they share the sun, they also have right to share the same rights.

In Love with Chinese Singaporean

As foreign students in Singapore, we are probably going to spend at least ten years in Singapore. During these ten years, we will also probably find our companions and get married. If we have a relationship with a Chinese Singaporean, we may meet communication barriers.
Communication barrier can occur in a relationship between us and Chinese Singaporean. we Chinese are better in Chinese than in English while Chinese Singaporean are opposite. We may not meet difficulties in daily chatting with our Singaporean friends, but the communication between lovers is more than daily chatting. During a date, when Chinese students want express his great affection or subtle feeling about their lovers, they can't help speaking out some simple but meaningful words in Chinese to their lovers. Limited by their level of Chinese, Singaporean will probably not only fail to get the points from those words, but also misunderstand their lovers. The same thing will also happen when Singaporean want to use English to tell their feelings percisely to their Chinese lovers. Love is always subtle and sophisticated. The lovers' unique communication may be hard to go on if they can not understand the deeper meaning of the words from each other.
Having a romance with Chinese Singaporean is totally a new thing to most of us. I do not know so much about that because I have never try it before, but what I am sure about is that if we study English hard enough and manage to master it, we will definitely no longer meet the situation as I mention above.

Internet: a place full of romance.

Internet may not be a reliable way to find true love between strangers. It still provides people who knew each other before with a new way to make dating happens.

Some people are too bashful to express their love feelings in real life. As a result of that, they may miss the love ones and regret for the actions which they have not taken. With the help of the Internet, people can be more outgoing and dare to say love to their Mr. or Ms. Right.

I once had an outgoing deskmate in my high school, but only when she came across the boy who she loved secretly, she would not behave properly. So she added his QQ number and caught chance to talk to him on the Internet. When she knew more information about the boy, she began to invite him to go out. Finally, the boy became her boyfriend.

Nowadays, the case above is becoming more and more common due to the rapid development of social network. By using the social network on the Internet, people can keep the newest updates of their love ones, so they can know whether their love ones are happy or not, people who are shy to express themselves can have chance to care their love ones.

In sum, Internet is a romantic place where could let love happens.

Love on Internet

To some extent, Internet helps lovers make romance. Sometimes love can even start on Internet, and it can be a strong sense of affinity. However, the love cultivated on Internet is hard to last long and finally lead to marriage. In other words, love starting on Internet can be intense and pleasant, but not realistic.

Undoubtedly with the development of social network, it becomes quite convenient for people to make friends online. Sometimes Internet surely can help to make romance. It’s true that Internet can help these shy people to express their love, and for lovers that are separate due to their work or studies, Internet is more powerful and desired to relieve their lovesickness.

However, Internet is not perfect. One reason is that people cannot see, hear or touch others directly, so sometimes people are easy to be tempted, or even cheated. There used to be a lady cyberdating with a man. After the man obtained the lady’s trust, he went to her home and robbed her house. There is also another reason dooming the difficulty of cyberdating. The most common way to transmit information on Internet is by words. When people chat on Internet, they use their imagination based on the words on the screen. Imagination sometimes can be attractive because it brings hope. However, when lovers that are familiar with each other on Internet know their lovers’ appearance in reality, hope may no longer exist, after all, Platonic love is not sensible, and most people care more about appearance than words.

In short, Internet is just a tool that helps to make romance, while reality should be where the love buds.

Love phases

The topic of this blog is “love”; it is a little wide. There are many kinds of love, such as friendship, families, and lovers. Because Valentine’s Day was in this week and we are students, we can talk about the love between girls and boys.
Before being admitted by universities, we cannot fall into love with another person. If it happens, teachers will tell us that puppy love is not allowed in school; it also affects our studies. Our parents will stand on teachers’ side as well. They will tell us study is the first and the only thing we should concentrate on at the moment. Study is always the best excuse for them to “saving” us.
At that time, if a boy and a girl get close, they will become our topic; they are in special relationship. Childish as we are, we usually play tricks with one another. With time went by, we grow up and be eager to know about the opposite sex. The special feeling occurs when we meet someone; that may be love, we think. We begin to observe him/her and do something funny or charming to attract his/her attention. That is the pure and true love.
The love seed buds and turns into a flower, it may breaks up unfortunately. We can lose our loved owing to man different reasons, such as the pressure from teachers, feeling unsuitable and distance. The distance may be the main reason after we graduated from senior high school and entered different universities in difference areas. Love is fragile and we should take good care of it.
The recalling, which shows the phases about love as we grow up, may be a little generalized, because everyone has his own experience about love. But love is a force of nature. Bless all the lovers can be together finally.

Internet, useful tool to keep love

Although there are many disadvantages finding lovers on the Internet, I think Internet
is a convenient tool to keep love, especially for lovers far apart. The first
reason is because lovers can chat on the Internet or even see the other easily.
In this way, they will have sweet time and say romantic words. The Internet
gives them a good platform to connect with the other one, so that they will not
miss the other one too much. Therefore, in some degrees, Internet is a tool to
shorten lovers’ distance. The second reason is easy to send presents to the other
one. For example, if the man wants to give some roses to the woman on the
Valentine’s Day, this thought is hard to realize because of the distance. On the
Internet, however, there are virtual roses for the man to use. The third reason
is that there are some special activities for lovers on the Internet. Some of
the most popular chatting programs like qq and renren have already had product
in pairs and the activities for lovers to send love massages. These activities
can give lovers a new way to show their love and have fun with the other one. Though
there are advantages on the Internet to keep the love of couples, the most
important thing is to understand and concern about the other. With loving,
Internet is useful for lovers far apart to keep hearts near.

My thoughts about love

Few days ago, my sworn friends told me that he had just stood out of “single line”. The girl is one of my friend’s pals and actually they have been good friends for a long time, but it wasn’t until recently that he had enough courage to say out his love.

This kind of situation is usual for those who are in dilemma, whether to say out love or to keep ordinary friendship. People are likely to struggle in this “to do or not to do” question, neglecting how small the probability is to fall in love with someone. They will meet thousands of people during their life, but how many of them will become their friends; among their friends, how many people will be the one they love. So no matter how difficult it is, be brave to seize the opportunity to say out love and don’t let love slip through fingers.

For another group of people who still can not hunt love and wait to be nourished by love, it is not because you do not deserve it but for the better. Keep your heart open and value the one you met. As the Buddha said “Five hundred times in our prelife, I laid my eyes on you, hence a casual encounter with you this life,” I believe that love is a kind of destiny. Someday they will finally meet their Mr/Ms.Right when the time comes in.

Love in my mind

Love in my mind

What is love? For many people, love may be dynamic; otherwise, it may be moderate. If someone confirm what love exactly is, he or she is wrong. Love is something you cannot express in details. I think it means differently for different people.

So I just want to talk about love in my mind.

Love is a period combined with two lovers’ efforts. Only if lovers both spare their things for love, such as time, energy and so on, this kind of love can last for a long time. Both of lovers care for   and consider each other, their relation will become firm; that means each of them can leave the other alone. Someone take it granted that there is a pay for love, there is a good result. In my opinion, however, not all the pay for love can get love back. As I refer to before, two lovers who love each other can maintain a true love.

Then, I want to talk about the true love in my mind. To some people, a true love means sacrifice everything for the other. I do not think so. In my opinion, someone must take care of himself or herself well at first, then he or she pay attention to the lover. Maybe it sounds a bit selfish. But only if they are in good conditions, they have the ability to take care of others.

All of my ideas may be mature owing to my young age. But I think following your heart is enough for love.

my reflections on love

I want to love, but I don’t want a reckless love. This is the reason why I haven’t chosen a girlfriend yet.

The feeling of love and romance is enjoyable, but the feeling of jilting or being jilted is extremely bitter, which sometimes becomes a lifetime pain for both.

Love is a kind of responsibility about marriage, which can influence the whole life. As a result, it must be seriously treated. If love starts recklessly, the ending will be full of bitterness.I have seen many lovers in high school break up after the College Entrance Examination. I think the reason they broke up is because they haven’t considered their love carefully before becoming lovers and would not to take the responsibility any more after graduation. The love between them is reckless.

To have a great love as well as life, I would like to know more about the girl before considering loving her. She is the person who I will spend the rest of my life with. If I chose to love recklessly, it is irresponsible to both of us.

I want to find my love, but I will think twice before it.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Online love

Advantages and Disadvantages of Online love
Nowadays, it’s no longer fresh for people to find a lover online. The internet has become a very popular platform where people try to find the opportunities of dating with the opposite sex. I think there are both advantages and disadvantages of online love.
As for advantages, the first one I thought is that internet provides the chance of meeting people you may never meet in the reality. Internet can be accessed by people from all over the world, which increases the possibility of finding your favorite type of person. Second, internet makes people feel more natural to start a chat with strangers, especially for the shy people, so there’s less fear for people to talk to others. In addition, internet is a more convenient way for some busy people to find love, because they usually bury themselves in work and their social circles restrict them to find a suitable lover.
Almost everything has its two sides; online love is also the same. We cannot only focus on the advantages and ignore its disadvantages.
The greatest disadvantage of online love is the uncertainty of people’s identity. Although there is some individual information, you cannot make sure whether it’s true or not. It is easy enough for people to conceal their true identity on the internet. Maybe what they said is only a hook to make you convinced, and then they will trick you. The problem of safety should also be noticed. If you decide to meet online lover in the reality, you should pay more attention on the security. Besides safety, it can be difficult to really get to know whether you are attracted by a person over the computer. Our attraction is based on many aspects, but on the internet we just can read the words or see the photo of a person. Distance is also a problem for people who fall in love on the internet. It can be a real pain to determine whether a long-distance relationship is worth when you haven't even met your lover before.
From the examples given, we can see both advantages and disadvantages of online love. It’s a good thing if one really found a suitable online lover, but it couldn’t be better to keep cautious on the internet.

keep sober in love

Love makes people blind, and this is sadly exploited by cheaters. An ocean of people lose their reason and get hurt in virtual love.
According to the statistics published in "Joint Morning" newspaper, the number of frauds involving online love increased by 195 percent last year, when compared to previous year. In one particular case, a girl fell in love with a man online and decided to lend him money without confirming his identify. This unwise decision cost her all her savings.
Love cheating does not exist only on the Internet but also in real life. Cheaters often pretend to be perfect when they approach their target. Once the victim is lost in love, cheaters will take what they want and run away. In most cases, victims will lose a lot of their property, but, mental harm can be more serious than the loss of money. Most victims tend to be more sensitive and depressed than others when it comes to love. This experience damages their belief in love, and the scars can remain for quite a long time.
From my point of view, although love is fascinating and addictive, the reason can never be deserted. It is better to keep sober than be blind, and that helps to find the true love.

Dove—for the chilly beautiful love

Many people have eaten Dove chocolate, but not all of them know the story behind “Dove”. Why this chocolate is called Dove and what is the story of Dove? I am going to tell you this story.
This story began at the spring in 1919, when Leon who invented Dove and named this chocolate several years later met Ba Sally, the other main role in this story. At that time, Leon was an apprentice in Luxembourg royal kitchen and Ba Sally was a princess of Bourbon. They encountered and fell in love with each other, but neither of them expressed their love to the other because of their different status.
Ba Sally liked eating ice cream, so Leon made ice cream almost every day and wanted to make the most delicious ice cream for her. One day, Ba Sally thought maybe they could add chocolate into ice cream to make it better, so they tried to find the way to make chocolate flavour ice cream. Several months later, however, before Leon’s success, they were told that Ba Sally would marry the prince of Belgium due to political reasons and would leave Luxembourg soon. At Ba Sally’s last meal in Luxembourg, because Leon did not succeed to make chocolate ice cream, he just wrote “DOVE” for “Do you love me” on her ice cream with hot chocolate and expected that Ba Sally would understand his love, but she was so sad that she did not want to eat anything, so she did not look at ice cream until all chocolate was dissolved.
After her leaving, he married a girl and had a son, but he missed Ba Sally so much that he divorced with his wife. One day, he decided to meet her. Finally, he found her and realized that she loved him so much that once knowing he was married she got heavily sick. When Leon saw her, she was going to die due to illness. After calling Leon’s name for several times, she passed away.
Leon regretted that he had not let her know his love before her leaving and he thought if the chocolate was solid and it would not dissolve, so Sa Bally would know his love. Then he began trying to make solid chocolate. Several months later, he successfully made the solid and delicious chocolate. To show his love and regret, he decided to sign “DOVE” at each chocolate he made.
That is the story of Dove. Next time when you eat Dove, I believe you can taste the deep love in it if you still remember this story.

Careful With Online Romance

When I graduated from junior high school, my Chinese teacher finally told the class her romance after "hooking" us for 3 years. She and her husband met each other on the Internet. After a while they began to see each other and fell in love; my Chinese teacher successfully found her romance on the Internet. People all like happy endings, but her situation cannot happen in everyone's life. There is still a chance to be cheated by some bad people. Here are three tips that might help.
Find more personal information---One of the conveniences that the Internet brought to people is the quick access of information. Someone can know more about his net friends by reading their blog or statement on the Internet, because nowadays many people use the Internet to express theirselves; sometimes they tell more on the Internet than in real life. If someone's blog is full of violence or racist statements. That can suggest that the person is aggressive and dangerous. Then any kind of attachment should be avoided.
Be honest on line---It is easy to lie on the Internet, because many users choose to stay anonymous or use a fake name. It is good to protect theirselves by staying anonymous, but if people lie to their net friends, the lies will be revealed when they meet each other. If some questions are personal, it is better to remain silent that make up a lie with reluctance.
Only by being true can people find 'true love". Online romance can be fruitful when they take it sincerely and carefully.

Love—a divine feeling

Love is one of the eternal topics in human’s history. Falling in love with someone is a strange feeling that no one can explain. Love is holy and pure.

I think people should be brave to love. “Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength; loving someone deeply gives you courage.” It is a wonderful experience to love or be loved, though the relationship may break up, just leaving the broken hearts to lovers. “It is better to have loved and lost than never love at all.”
Once falling in love with someone, please never give up easily. It is a fate that couples meet each other and fall in love. Last month I heard that a couple of my high school classmates had broken up, because they are in different universities now. The long distance sealed the doom of their love. Maybe someone think love is like a snow ball, easy to make but difficult to keep. In my opinion, if it is true love, distance is no problem. Persevere, and true love is in front!
As Kahlil Gibran says,”Life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruits.” Love refreshes the tired life; love is a divine feeling.

Where is true love ?

These days, love is usually a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and candle light dinners; these days, many people don't marry to the beloved ones, but to the treasure someone has. I often ask myself, where is true love in the world, and I do find the trails of true love.
True love hides in the man's hands when he helps his wife wash dishes in the kitchen on weekend. It also hides in  the lunch box when a woman prepares the lunch for the man and sends it to the man's office. In addition, people can find it on the sofa when a couple sit together and watch TV at night. Maybe true love will not show up in a very luxuriant way, it will just be in the simple things in daily life, and be free from all unnecessary ornaments. After all, sometimes the essence of something just can be find in the most simple issues.
Based on what I have given above, I want to say that although the rate of divorce has increased rapidly these years, people should not give up the belief that there really exists true love in this world. It may just be there and wait to be discovered by the certain one.
Where is true love? From my opinion, the answer is that it is always there invisible until one day people can really realise the nature of it.

The Internet: Not a Suitable "Postman" to Deliver Love

As technology is blooming fast in nowadays, the Internet soon becomes a quite important means for people to communicate with each other. It is more convenient and economical than the old means, such as writing letters and telegraphing. But when love becomes the theme of a conversation, I think it may not be suitable to use network to communicate.

Every time I think of love, it makes me feel tender, warm, full of energy and just like the feeling of eating sugar--so sweet. But the love delivered by network sounds cold, hard and lack of emotion. Especially after I have learned C-programme, I have learned that the words we type on th computer would be changed into C-language codes first, then other forms of information and finally, back to words again. I really do not like this way to express love or receive love. How can the lively and beautiful emotion of human beings be changed into the curt computer language? Computer language is disabled to express one's tears, smile, expressions in eyes and many things, which are more than words.

In my opinion, instead of using the Internet, the best "postman" to deliver love is face-to-face communication. Just imagine how beautiful and romantic it is to look deep into each other's eyes and feel the whole atmosphere being full of the other's breath when saying love words.

Love is a rose

Today is Valentine's Day. I saw that the smile of happiness spread on every girls' face who held a bunches of roses in hands. That made me have a thought about love. Love is just like a rose, isn't it?
Just as the stem of a rose is filled with thorns, love won't always equal to the honey and happiness. Love sometimes can make people who are involved in it deep hurt. However, that is where its charm lies in. Although it has thorns, no one would like to refuse to approach a rose and bend over it to smell its engaging scent. So how could you recoil when faced with the love in front of you? No one could tell what would happen tomorrow. Maybe the person you fell in love with is the right one who will accompany you for your whole life, or maybe he or she is just a passerby in your journey. Maybe your love is as treacly as candies, or maybe as bitter as coffee. Anyhow, don't draw back just because the fear of failure somewhere. Just pluck up to begin the love, even if it may leave you scars, it still must be a precious part of the memory.
There used to be a song named" The Rose". I like the lyrics very much. It sings
"Some say love, it is a razor that leaves your soul to bleed
Some say love, it is a hunger and endless aching need
I say love, it is flower, and you its only seed
And you think that love is only for the lucky and strong
Just remember in the winter, far beneath the bitter snow
Lies the seed that with sun's love
In the spring becomes the rose"
Just remember be brave to take the rose, and begin  your own wonderful love journey!

Ture love

After learning the article “love in the time of TV hysteria”, I have some opinions about true love.

I think loving someone does not mean having him or her but giving happiness to him or her. In the article, Arif said he loved Gudiya, but he could not accept the baby. I think if Arif really love her, he should know the importance of the baby to Gudiya. Loving someone, people should not control him or her. Like the movie---- Casablanca, Rick gave up the chance to go with his first love. He gave her the last two tickets to leave there with her husband. I think a man can sacrifice himself to let his true love live happily with others.

I also think true love is not depended on money or position. The true love never ends with poorness. Just like what people said in their wedding “I, (name), take thee (name), as my lawfully wedded husband (wife), in sickness and in health until death parts us.”

“I thought that it mattered what I said or where I said it, then I realized, the only thing that matters is that you. You make me happier than I ever thought I could be, and if you let me; I will spend all my life trying to make you feel the same way.”Maybe this proposal in a TV shows defines the true love. Either Money or position does not matter; the only thing that matters is the person you love. The only thing that you can give and hope to give to your lover is the happiness.

Love

What is love? Some people believe that love is very simple, and they think love has the same meaning of spiritual happiness; others think that love is too complicated to explain, and they consider love only to exist a period of life. We can see that the definitions of love are various from individual to individual. I also want to share my understanding of love with you. Here is a poem written by myself, and I hope that this poem can truly inspire you.
Love is not a time of life, but a state of mind.
Love is not a matter of rosy cheeks or red lips.
It is a matter of a vigor of the emotions and the freshness of the deep springs of life.

Believe in love; be brave to love, though it may wound you.
Distrust love bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.
Never too old to love; love exists everywhere.
Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up love wrinkles the soul.
Love has no other ideas, but to fulfill itself.
When you love someone, just go ahead to seek the love for yourselves.
Thanks for the beloved one in your heart.
The Valentine's Day is around the corner, and I hope that all of us can believe in love, be brave to love. Finally, I hope we can all find our beloved ones and enjoy our life in the future.
