How important are human rights? I want to answer the question with a fancy story made by myself.
Yesterday, I sold my human rights for boundless money. I think if I can buy whatever I want, why should I care about such helpless things like my human rights?
Today morning, I get up early. I cannot wait to buy many expensive products. When I am going to leave, however, a man pushes me into my house and yells at me: “Do not leave your house until 8 pm, Fool.” “Who are you? Why should I stay in my room?” I feel angry. “You don’t have a right to have the freedom.” The man laughs at me and leave. “No problem, I still can go shopping after 8 pm.” I try to make me happy.
I rush out my room when it is 8 pm. “Oh, finally.” I walk in the street with a smile, but some people start to humiliate me and even spit on me. “What are you doing?” I cannot bear. “You don’t have the right to be respected.” They said and still make fun of me.
I run to the shop with tears. Maybe only shopping can make me relaxed. The salesman looks at me and said: “You can’t take the clothes. You don’t have the right to own wealth.” I am surprised; I regret selling my rights; I must get them back.
Unluckily, leaving the shop, I meet a robber. “Give me your money. Oh, wait, I can kill you then get your money. You don’t have the right to live.” I feel scared and run for my life. Finally, I find a policeman. I shout: “Help!” the policeman glance at me and said: “You don’t have the right to get help.” As the robber come, I feel despairing and close my eye.
Human rights are the basic rights for human. If a person does not have human rights, the person cannot live in the world as a human.
WOW~An interesting fancy story! You are so imageable~~I agree with you that our human rights are crucial in our life;without them,we might live in "a dark world"~
ReplyDeleteI think this interesting and fancy story shows the importance of human rights vividly. One cannot live a good life in the world even if he or she has plenty of money. Nothing can take place of human rights. Just as what you say:" If a person does not have human rights, the person cannot live in the world as a human."
ReplyDeleteGood story! You tell us the importance of human rights clearly through a very interesting story. How imaginative you are.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading your story, I must say that you are very creative. Your story vividly expresses your idea, and I truly feel that men cannot live without human rights.
ReplyDeleteInteresting indeed, it reminds me of Franz Kafka, just keep going on writing.
ReplyDeleteIt is a interesting story. I like your way of explaining ideas, clear and attractive. We all need to value our rights since we cannot live without it.
ReplyDeleteIt is okay to start with a story but the focus for your blog should be the moral behind the story and the supporting reasons for your learning point. Perhaps, you should shorten the story and emphasise more on presenting your viewpoint.
ReplyDeleteDood story! Human rights are something that cannot measured by money. I think may be it is what you want to express.
