Careful With Online Romance

When I graduated from junior high school, my Chinese teacher finally told the class her romance after "hooking" us for 3 years. She and her husband met each other on the Internet. After a while they began to see each other and fell in love; my Chinese teacher successfully found her romance on the Internet. People all like happy endings, but her situation cannot happen in everyone's life. There is still a chance to be cheated by some bad people. Here are three tips that might help.
Find more personal information---One of the conveniences that the Internet brought to people is the quick access of information. Someone can know more about his net friends by reading their blog or statement on the Internet, because nowadays many people use the Internet to express theirselves; sometimes they tell more on the Internet than in real life. If someone's blog is full of violence or racist statements. That can suggest that the person is aggressive and dangerous. Then any kind of attachment should be avoided.
Be honest on line---It is easy to lie on the Internet, because many users choose to stay anonymous or use a fake name. It is good to protect theirselves by staying anonymous, but if people lie to their net friends, the lies will be revealed when they meet each other. If some questions are personal, it is better to remain silent that make up a lie with reluctance.
Only by being true can people find 'true love". Online romance can be fruitful when they take it sincerely and carefully.

  1. Yes, I agree with you. Not everyone can meet romance on the Internet. It is better to protect oneself than be cheated by others. And get to know more about others from their blog or statement and be honest online are the two way we should do before we meet online friends. But sometimes we should not be so honest that we tell every detail to others, such as our phone number and home address.

  3. I agree with you. The Internet deeply interferes in modern life, but when it comes to private things, the Internet may not be a good tool.

  4. I can understand your apprehension in using the Internet. However, Internet should just be seen as a tool. It can help or hinder romance. It is really up to you how you use it. In the case of your teacher, she used the Internet at the start of her relationship but continue with it offline (face-to-face meeting).
