Studying more efficiently

During my 15 years of studying, I have found that there are some very useful methods to study more efficiently, and I am very delighted to share them with all of you.
Frankly speaking, in my childhood, to some degree, I did not like to study so I could not fully engaged myself in the tasks. As I grew old, I noticed that it was the distractions around me that draw my attention away from my work. First of all, I strongly maintain that it is of great importance to choose a quiet and comfortable place to study, like the library or the self-learning classrooms, where you can totally immerse yourself into a fabulous atmosphere studying and be far away from distractions. Secondly, at the same time, confronted a great deal of work to do, we ought to make a list to help us know what you should do and then arrange our time and prioritize the things in a practical schedule, through which we can better organize our time more efficiently. Finally, the rest and recreation are extremely vital too, through which can recharge our batteries and help us keep our positive attitudes.
Through these learning strategies, I believe that we group 4 students can smoothly fulfill our bridging course, improve our English skills, and ultimately become good friends with each other happily.

  1. Yes,the quiet environment is really necessary. You will always fail to study in a lousy room. But I think that if you cannot make a timetable well, it will waste too much time.
In my opinion, the list should be brief. You don't need write the detail, but just write how much time you want to spend on the studying or resting, so you can adjust your time in different situation.

  3. It is apparently that you handle your English study easily. You make your time table and do things follow it. That seems a scientific way of study. Unfortunately, I fail to arrange my study time as clear as you. Usually I spend most of my time on making a detailed plan that I nearly have no time to do anything.

  5. Yes, I can't agree more with you! Distractions the are the killers our study. We do need to reject these distractions and concentrate more on our study. Schedule is also important, but whether we can strictly obey the schedule is also a problem.

  8. I totally agree with you that study needs a comparatively quite place, but in fact we have to study in the dorm most of the time and I think we may find a way to form a positive atmosphere in the dorm.

  9. I think the first one depends on different people. For me, I like studying in a slightly noisy place. Too quite can make me uncomfortable, But I like your second tip very much. I do not like making lists for what I am going to do, so sometimes I get confused about what I should do next and may forget some work. Anyway, thank you for your useful tips!
