What you can have tomorrow?

We usually talk about our values. In my opinion, a person's value includes many aspects, for example how do you distinguish right and wrong, how do you define success. In the material world, people have the tend to evaluate whether or not a person is successful by how much fortune he possesses, how many luxuries he can afford. I am here not to discuss whether it is a right way to evaluate. Whether it is right or wrong, it is the main and direct way to evaluate success for this decade, and I am here to give my opinion about the value of money for our university students.

Do you have the habit to save a certain amount of money every month in the bank? Have you got some good ideas about where to invest your money? I guess that even you do not have those "good habit", you still very admire those university students who can make it. That is because the society tells us to do so. In the book shop, you can see many books teaching young persons how to manage the money and how to invest the money. The authors usually say that if you start to manage your money at a young age, you will have a good lead over your peers, and words suchlike that. Is that true? My personal opinion is . As university students do not have job, the main source of their money is from parents. The source of money is limited, so if they want to keep the "good habit" to make a deposit every month, or to make investment, they must need to deduce their daily expense or to do a part
-time job. But the university time is for them to improve themselves, if they just focus on that small amount money, and do not see the future how could they accumulate the talent and knowledge for tomorrow? The fortune they could make because of the accumulation in the university might be far more than what they save now.

Of course, I do not mean you can spend your parents' money immoderately. The money should not be only spend on the food, clothes, cosmetics, electrical facilities, recreation activities like watching movies and going to KTV, and any other thing that make you look rich for your age. The feeling of being rich may really make you fulfilled, but that is what your parents can give you, and have you ever thought what you could have tomorrow without their aid? Try to spend the money properly--buy some books, attend some exhibitions, attend some courses to learn more skills. Those are the things that can make you rich inside.
When you are proud of being rich or when you are ashamed of being poor, try to tell yourself " what I have today is not important, and whether I will be successful depends on what I can have tomorrow."

  1. Wow,I am indeed impressed by your blog. I agree with you that it is better to be well-organised with money and learn how to deal with it properly. Moreover, I think that maybe each person has his or her own attitude towards money. Therefore, if someone feels happy spending their money and they can afford it, I believe that they are right and wise no matter how much they spend. It was little destined when we were born, but I reckon that we can use our owm ablities to make a licing and create our life by ourselves. Best wishes and thank you very much. By the way, you publushed your blog so fast, and it is amazing.

  2. It is a good habit to learn to have a budget and to manage your money well. In fact, it is the same to manage $100 as to manage $1,000,000. To me, this is one of the life skills we have to learn nowadays.
