Duke of the darkness
When
the last sunlight fades away in the sky,
death will shroud the whole city.
death will shroud the whole city.
Reviving in my coffin.
walking between life and death,
following the scent of blood,
walking between life and death,
following the scent of blood,
oh, the enchanted
fragrance!
Crucifixes, garlics, stakes,
put down
these ridiculous things,
they are
all tricks for me;
come to
me, beauty,
using your blood to warm my icy body,
and flush my unnatural mask of skin.
Fragile
mortals,
death is your destiny.
But what does die mean
when one can live until the ending?
And the “ending” itself means nothing
more than a
phrase to me.
My pain, my struggle, my misery,
my soul buried under the earth
deeply.
God has
deserted me
and never
spared His mercy.
Everything is nothing,
when the sky is paling.
So nice your poem is! It vividly carves the characteristics of dracula. I love the first part most. It portraits the scene when vampire revives in my mind!!
ReplyDeleteThanks. By the way, do you like vampire stories? If so, I recommend Interview with the Vampire; it's very interesting!
DeleteI like this poem, though I cannot fully understand it, especially the new words for me. From what I can understand, it is very beautiful, and also interesting.
ReplyDeleteVampire is a very miserable kind of creature. They struggle hard to survive in this world. Poeple are afraid of them, but sometimes they also need our mercy and love, for they also have their inner feelings and the desire of love. This is my feelings of this poem.
